Government & Policy Changers Collaboration

WNA Government Leaders Opening Remarks, London

The opening remarks started with Director General and Managing Director of the World Nuclear Symposium with representatives from the United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates. They discussed the very positive momentum of how the World Nuclear markets are poised to triple by 2050. Furthermore, we discussed key strategies in helping us achieve this goal as an industry.

Second, Government leaders from the United Kingdom, India, Sweden, China, and Canada presented their current policy framework and how we are developing new standards. It was beneficial to learn from all perspectives where policies are trending and how Hadron Energy can best take action on the momentum building.

Hadron Energy met with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission

“Office of The Inspector General” Medal Presented by the NRC To Samuel Gibson

It was an absolute honor to meet with the U.S. NRC in London. We shared our vision of Hadron Energy with the agency. They were impressed by the ambitious targets and were excited to learn more.

“The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) was created as an independent agency by Congress in 1974 to ensure the safe use of radioactive materials for beneficial civilian purposes while protecting people and the environment. The NRC regulates commercial nuclear power plants and other uses of nuclear materials, such as in nuclear medicine, through licensing, inspection and enforcement of its requirements.”

See https://www.nrc.gov/ for more information about the impactful work they carry out for civilian use of nuclear energy and more!
